Didja Notice?
Page 5 implies that Count Iblis created the
black hole the fleet was forced to fly into in
"In the Beginning"
and even created the realm the fleet finds itself in upon
emerging from the singularity. Iblis reveals here that he plans to
use the Galactica as the key to his revenge against
the Beings of Light, which may explain how the fleet was able to
survive passing through the singularity.
In this issue, the comatose Commander Adama
is able to initiate telepathic contact with Apollo. Baltar is
reminded that Adama was trained in telepathic communication at
the Colonial Military Institute.
Armageddon
later reveals that descendants of the House of Kobol, like Adama
and Apollo, do have mental abilities such as telepathy that can
be brought forth with training. "The
Fever" also suggested there may have been some low-level
telepathy going on between Apollo and his adopted son, Boxey.
On page 7,
Starbuck says that when they looked inside Count Iblis' old
ship, they saw it full of demonic skeletons like the ones
they've found in the crater on the unknown planet. We, the
audience, never saw what it was they found in that ship (in
"War of the Gods" Part 2).
Also on page 7, Sheba refers to Iblis as
Diaboles. This is one of the names Apollo says is analogous to
that of Iblis
in
"War of the Gods" Part 2.
On page 9, the "new" Cylons state they are
from the Meclon Empire. In "Infamous", Lucifer will explain that
Meclons are a class of rogue Cylons from a cautionary myth
written long ago as part of an attempt at control programming
that was considered a complete failure. Apparently, the new
Cylons took the name from the story in acknowledgment of the
fact that they are rogue from the traditional Cylon Empire.
On page 14, Sheba and the others discover
that the Meclon Centurions have a person inside, the robotic
armor grafted on and into their body. Similar cyborg Centurions
are seen later in
"Centurion Prime" and
"Masquerade".
