Didja Notice?
On page 2,
Sam Anders (on the original Earth) is playing a guitar
and singing the opening lyrics of "All Along the Watchtower". We
further learn that Sam is a homeless street performer at this
time.
On page 4, we see that John Cavil owns Cavil Cybernetics on the
original Earth.
Page 7 reveals that John Cavil and Michael Tigh have been
enemies for a hundred years, making the relationship between Saul and
Ellen problematic and kept in secret.
In panel 2 of page 9, we can see from the name on the vial that
the drug Tyrol has just injected his test subject with is
morpha, the BSG universe equivalent of morphine, designed to
kill pain.
On page 9, after Tory unexpectedly shoots Anders to speed up his
death for the resurrection experiment, Tyrol remarks to her,
"For the record, that sort of thing isn't a turn-on for me." The
two were stated to have been lovers on Earth in
"No Exit".
On page 11, Saul watches a NewsNet broadcast about the death of
his father. While it didn't exist at the time this issue was
written, there is currently a NewsNet streaming and television
service on our Earth as of 2021.
In a flashback in panel 4 of page 14, little Saul Tigh is seen
playing jacks with his father.
Page 15 reveals that Saul Tigh was seeing visions of Head Six
along with his father at this time.
The Cylons of original Earth who rebel against humanity
in this story appear to have the single eye slit
commonly seen in Colonial models, not the double slits
seen on the recovered Cylon head found in the ruins of
Earth in
"Sometimes a Great Notion". |

It was established in the televised episodes, particularly
"Daybreak" Part 2, that all five of the Final Five held
knowledge of particular aspects of how to build resurrection technology, so
all five would be needed to recreate it. But here, Anders' only
role in it was as the first successful resurrection subject, he
doesn't seem to be a scientist at all. Also, Tory seems to be
just an administrative assistant to the project, again not a
scientist.
There is no mention of Anders and Tory having visions of Head
Six or other "head beings" here as Anders had mentioned in
"No Exit".
